FCT In Chaos: Darkness, Filth, And Neglect As Wike Races To Impress Tinubu....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is plunged into chaos and neglect, with Minister Nyesom Wike rushing to deliver projects to mark President Bola Tinubu’s one-year anniversary, turning the city into a construction site…….CONTINUE READING

Despite the frenzy of construction activities, the city remains shrouded in darkness and littered with garbage. From AYA to Jahi to Maitama, ongoing projects clutter the landscape, most inherited from former Minister Mohammed Bello’s tenure.

In recent months, work on these projects has intensified dramatically, with the minister pressuring contractors to meet the May 29 deadline, the president’s one-year anniversary.

While some residents applaud the swift pace of work, others decry the neglect of other vital aspects of the city. The focus on construction has left essential services unattended, exacerbating the city’s problems.

Wike Plans To Appoint Nine Permanent Secretaries In FCT

Wike’s ambition to deliver key projects, including the Abuja Metro Railway, is palpable. The rush to impress President Tinubu has seen roads blocked and traffic gridlocks as construction efforts intensify.

However, this zeal for development seems to favor the affluent areas, leaving poorer neighborhoods neglected. Many roads in wealthy districts like Maitama and Asokoro are being reconstructed, while satellite towns suffer from neglect and decay.

Moreover, the city’s safety and security are compromised by the darkness that blankets many areas. Inadequate street lighting provides cover for criminals, fueling insecurity and fear among residents.

Despite Wike’s recent success in securing the arrest of a kidnapping kingpin, kidnapping and other crimes continue to plague the city. Heap of refuse piles up in parks and markets, further adding to the city’s woes.

Additionally, the water situation remains dire for many residents, with access to clean water still a distant dream for some. The delay in the Greater Abuja Phase II water scheme exacerbates the problem, leaving many residents reliant on boreholes and other unreliable sources.

As Wike rushes to deliver projects for political gain, the residents of FCT are left grappling with darkness, filth, and neglect, questioning the priorities of their leaders amidst the chaos.”

“I Was Misled!” – Nafiu Bala Claims He Was Deceived Into ADC Handover Event.

Published

A new dimension has been added to the leadership crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), as factional figure Nafiu Bala has accused former party national chairman Ralph Nwosu of allegedly deceiving him into attending a major party gathering.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking in an interview on AIT on Monday, Bala said he was invited under the impression that the meeting was a routine event meant to welcome new entrants into the party. However, he claimed he later discovered that the gathering was actually organised to unveil a new leadership structure reportedly headed by David Mark.

He explained that the true nature of the event only became clear after proceedings had already commenced, adding that it coincided with the resignation of Nwosu and the announcement of a new set of party executives.

According to Bala, the development represented a significant turning point in the internal crisis within the ADC, noting that the emergence of a leadership bloc associated with David Mark and other figures deepened existing divisions in the party.

Bala alleged that he was initially told the event was a simple adoption of new members, but later realized it was a formal handover involving the new coalition leadership. He also said that on the same day, Nwosu announced his resignation while unveiling new party officials, including names such as David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola.

He added that the situation further escalated tensions within the party, as different factions continued to contest control of the ADC structure.

Following the event, Bala said he moved to address the developments through internal party channels, including convening consultations and a National Executive Council meeting about a week later.

He further stated that after the consultations, he notified the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of his position as deputy national chairman and declared himself acting national chairman of the party.

Bala also alleged that the crisis worsened after he discovered what he described as irregularities, including claims that his signature was forged on documents linked to the resignation of some party officials. He said the disputed documents were used to facilitate the emergence of a new leadership team.

He concluded by saying he had taken legal steps against the faction aligned with David Mark and also made his position public through media channels.
