Members of the Conference of former speakers of Abia State House of Assembly, representing both the PDP and the APC, conveyed their admiration for Governor Otti’s achievements during an inspection of ongoing road projects in Aba.

Rt. Hon. Stanley Ohajuruka and Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, alongside other former speakers, commended Otti’s governance, pledging their commitment to offer advice and cooperation to enhance governance in Abia State.

The visit, termed as an “endorsement visit,” has raised eyebrows among party faithful, with concerns about its implications for both the PDP and the APC. While some view it as a positive recognition of Otti’s governance, others fear it may signify deeper political realignments.

A top PDP member acknowledged Otti’s governance but expressed surprise at seeing prominent party members openly supporting the governor, hinting at potential disquiet within the party.

Similarly, the APC in the state witnessed former speakers, including Martins Azubuike and Stanley Ohajuruka, backing Otti during the inspection tour, raising questions about the party’s stance.

Despite the accolades for Otti’s achievements, the public endorsement has sparked speculation about the political landscape in Abia State, with observers keenly watching for any potential shifts in party dynamics.
