The commission expressed regret over the disruption of the electoral process and emphasized its commitment to conducting free, fair, and peaceful elections.

Meanwhile, in a contrasting development, the supplementary election in the Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency of Taraba State is reportedly unfolding peacefully across three Local Government areas.

The disruption of the rerun election in Enugu underscores the challenges faced by electoral authorities in ensuring the smooth conduct of elections amidst security threats and acts of violence perpetrated by miscreants.
