“Bloody Showdown!” Eight Kidnappers Captured, Others Neutralized In Daring Rescue Of Oyo Pupils And Teachers!
The Presidency has confirmed the successful rescue of all teachers and pupils who were abducted in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced on Friday via that eight of the kidnappers were arrested and are now in the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS), while others were neutralized. This follows a statement from Minister of Defence Christopher Musa, who revealed in an interview preview that the abductors had threatened to kill the captives if a rescue was attempted.
