The Ooni emphasized the need for Nigerian governors and members of the National Assembly to enact policies and laws that encourage local production and consumption. He called for measures that would enhance the nation’s economy and create job opportunities for the youth. The monarch urged political leaders to refrain from promoting foreign commodities and suggested that lawmakers mandate the use of indigenous products within the parliament.
