Just In: Former Governor Segun Oni Applauds Governor Oyebanji’s Composure For Advancing Ekiti’s Progress And Future

Engr Oni explained that his presence at the service fulfilled a promise to join Governor Oyebanji for worship, having missed the special thanksgiving service on October 22 to mark the Governor’s first anniversary in office. He commended Governor Oyebanji for infrastructure projects and ongoing efforts to complete abandoned projects, specifically mentioning the Ado-Ifaki road.
Expressing his satisfaction, Engr Oni called Governor Oyebanji a gift to the people and commended his composure in leading the state forward. He urged politicians to take breaks from politics, emphasizing fellowship and unity.
Addressing the congregation, Engr Oni called on stakeholders in the Ekiti project to collaborate with Governor Oyebanji for the state’s progress. He emphasized the need for politics to serve the people, highlighting elections and petitions as part of democratic processes. Engr Oni expressed delight in the state’s transformation within the last year, attributing it to Governor Oyebanji’s exemplary leadership.
