Just In: Former PDP Spokesman Applauds River State Governor For Breaking Ties With Wike, And Embracing Amaechi
Just In: Former PDP Spokesman Applauds River State Governor For Breaking Ties With Wike, And Embracing Amaechi....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has expressed his admiration for Rivers State Governor Siminialayi Fubara for reportedly distancing himself from his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, and aligning with former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi.
Eze’s comments came in response to the alleged conflict between Fubara and Wike. The political figure cautioned Wike against his tendency to exert excessive control and dominance over the lives and affairs of others, both public and private.
He argued that Rivers State does not belong to Wike alone, and he cannot dictate the fate of the entire state. The former nPDP spokesman emphasized that Fubara deserves praise for standing up against actions that trouble the conscience and for relying on his instincts.
Eze claimed that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) initiated action against Governor Fubara because Fubara embraced Amaechi’s people-oriented programs aimed at the state’s development.
He remarked, “Rivers State is far too advanced to be under the control of an individual like Nyesom Wike. The attempt to initiate an impeachment process against the Rivers State Governor simply because he intends to revive Amaechi’s visionary projects like the Songhai and the Greater Port Harcourt, which are aimed at making Rivers State self-sufficient and empowering its youth, is deeply regrettable.
“Let me emphasize that Wike should not try to repeat his illegal use of five lawmakers to threaten Amaechi with impeachment, as he did in July 2013. This time, his plot against Fubara will undoubtedly fail.
“Rivers State is not the personal property of Wike, and he cannot determine the destiny of the state.”
