Kano Court Orders Detention Of Trader Accused Of Threatening To Kidnapping Brother’s Son....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In Kano State, a Sharia Court has issued an order for the detention of a 35-year-old trader, Shuaibu Labaran-Baba, in a correctional facility. He is accused of making threats to abduct his nephew.
Labaran-Baba, residing in Alfindiki Quarters, Mandawari, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano, was charged by the police with criminal intentional harm and intimidation.

The presiding Judge, Malam Umar Lawal-Abubakar, gave this directive and scheduled the case for mention on September 25.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Inspector Abdullahi Wada, informed the court that the defendant’s biological brother, Zahradeen Baba, filed a complaint on September 8 at the Mandawari Police Station in Kano.
Wada elaborated that the complainant reported that Labaran-Baba had threatened to abduct his son if he did not repay a debt owed to him.
The prosecutor specified that this action violated the provisions of Section 158 of the Penal Code.
Upon the reading of the charges, the defendant entered a plea of not guilty.
