Prophet Abidoye departed on Sunday morning around 10:00 am at the age of 103 in his Ilorin residence, situated in the Kwara state capital.
The church’s Secretary-General, Special Apostle Ademola Odetundun, announced his demise, recounting that the revered spiritual leader had breakfast and, while preparing for service, chose to rest. According to Odetundun, “He passed on peacefully thereafter.
The statement released by Odetundun mentioned that details regarding the funeral arrangements for the spiritual leader, affectionately known as Baba Aladura, would be provided at a later time.
Baba Aladura, born on June 26 as a Prince in Omu Aran, Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State, was the son of Odetundun Abegunde, Oba Olomu of Omu Aran, within the Ilorin Province during that period.
