According to police reports, the suspect visited a new mother, Fatima Muhammad, under the guise of helping fetch hot water on July 23, 2025, before fleeing with the infant. Investigators stated that the suspect had faked a pregnancy to her husband for nine months due to societal and emotional pressure.
Following a sustained investigation, authorities apprehended the suspect on August 14, 2026, successfully recovered the child, and reunited the baby with the biological mother.
