Declaring that the era of political conflict in the state has ended, Fubara emphasized that unity and peace are now the top priorities for development.

“I am supporting our Rainbow Coalition. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is our President, and he is the one we are supporting. The governorship candidate is the candidate I am supporting, and anybody who believes in me will support every candidate under the Rainbow Coalition,” he stated.

Returning to the Fold

Fubara noted that while some political actors advised him to postpone openly joining the coalition, he chose to make his stance clear immediately.

“I am already in the family. I have returned to our family. Give your total support to the coalition. The time of war is over; it is now time for peace, and that peace will take us to another level,” he remarked, adding that he strongly opposes anything that could cause division or threaten the state’s current peace.

Boosting Industrial Growth

Turning to the investment project, Fubara promised full government backing to ensure the successful delivery of the medical consumables factory. He noted that he only agreed to support the initiative after receiving solid guarantees regarding its feasibility and timeframe.

The first phase of the project is slated for completion in three months. Fubara described it as a vital investment that will drive industrialization, generate employment, and transform Rivers State into a major production hub for medical supplies, thereby stimulating manufacturing and drawing both local and international business.
