The controversy follows a statement from the Presidency, via Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, asserting that the PFIPC does not exist.

In response to the situation, Adeyemi has committed to the following:

• He plans to personally report to the DSS or the police to hand over all relevant documentation he possesses.

• He is inviting security authorities to authenticate and verify his documents to help uncover the truth about the agency’s origins, creation, and operations.
