• The suspect is alleged to be affiliated with a Berom militia group involved in the attack.

• Kolsen is currently undergoing interrogation regarding his participation in the assault and his potential connections to other fugitives.

• This arrest follows an attempted attack on NIPSS on July 2, which resulted in a gun battle between troops and suspected militants; one suspect was killed, while others escaped into the surrounding rocky terrain.

• During that July 2 operation, troops recovered a service rifle (registration number CO-3175) linked to a soldier who was killed at the Federal College of Land Resources Technology, Vom, on April 11.
