Justice Akintoye Aluko has adjourned the case until June 16 to hear the bail plea, ordering that Oweleke remain in DSS detention until that time. Obi’s legal representatives responded to accusations that NDC leadership extorted ₦10 million from House of Representatives aspirants by demanding a formal retraction, a public apology, a written commitment to cease defamatory remarks, and financial compensation.
