Nollywood actress Shine Rosman has revealed that she was told she would end up becoming a prostitute after the death of her father.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

reports that Rosman made the disclosure during a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where she also spoke about the emotional trauma she experienced following her father’s passing.

She explained that she lost her father at the age of 16, a tragedy that deeply affected her mental and emotional health, to the point where she once struggled with suicidal thoughts.

The actress added that the negative comments she received from some people during that period worsened her pain, as many wrote her off and believed she would amount to nothing.

According to her, she eventually channelled the grief and financial hardship that followed into motivation, using it as a driving force to push herself toward success.

She said: “After I lost my dad at 16, many people said to me that I would end up becoming a prostitute and get pregnant out of wedlock.”

Rosman also reflected on how grief nearly broke her, noting that losing a parent at a young age can be extremely overwhelming, but her difficult upbringing eventually shaped her ambition and resilience.

In a separate conversation, the actress also addressed misconceptions about Nollywood stars, saying many people wrongly assume that actors are wealthy simply because of their public image.

She explained that while some actors appear financially successful, many still struggle behind the scenes, as acting alone does not guarantee financial stability.

According to her, only a small number of entertainers enjoy consistent wealth, often because they have additional sources of income beyond acting.

In a statement released by his family, he was described as a “husband, son, brother, and friend,” suggesting that he had quietly built a family life away from public scrutiny before his death.

The revelation reportedly shocked many, especially colleagues in the entertainment industry, as he never publicly disclosed any marriage or child throughout his career.

Industry discussions suggest that the breakdown of his engagement, which once dominated entertainment headlines, exposed him to heavy public criticism and online attacks, making him a frequent subject of speculation.

Sources close to him claimed this experience influenced his decision to keep his personal life private, particularly relationships that could attract media attention or online interference.

Some colleagues also admitted they were unaware of his alleged marriage and fatherhood, noting that he kept such matters strictly within family circles.

It was also reported that the actor battled serious health challenges privately, including complications linked to a kidney transplant, but chose not to disclose them publicly to avoid attention or sympathy.

Insiders further suggested that his silence was driven by a desire to protect his family from online harassment, especially recurring social media criticism and rumours about his personal life.

Over time, he had become a frequent topic of online debates and speculation, which may have contributed to his decision to maintain a highly private lifestyle.

The family statement also described him as someone who faced his struggles with courage, faith, and resilience, while keeping his personal pain away from public view.
