BBNaija Season 11 Auditions Open May 22 As Reality TV Fever Returns

The selection process will be conducted physically in selected cities across Nigeria.
According to information shared by the organisers on Instagram, registration for interested applicants will begin on May 16 and close on May 20.
Only participants who successfully complete registration within that window will be eligible for the audition stage.
The organisers also stated that the audition process is completely free.
To qualify, applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid means of identification.
They further noted that available slots are limited, meaning the registration portal could close earlier than scheduled once the maximum number of applications is reached.
Successful applicants will receive confirmation emails and proceed to the physical audition stage, which is scheduled to take place from May 22 to May 24 in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.
The move marks a return to the show’s earlier in-person audition format after several seasons of online and hybrid selection methods.
The previous season of Big Brother Naija was won by Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, who emerged victorious on October 5, 2025, after competing against 28 other housemates for the grand prize of ₦150 million.

Reports indicate that she shared the experience during a public appearance, where she reflected on her life journey and how her personal struggles influenced her career choices.
According to her, the separation from her children had a profound emotional impact and significantly altered the direction of her life.
She explained that acting was not originally part of her plan, but she later joined the film industry with the hope that her children would one day be able to trace and find her through her work.
At the time, she said she was overwhelmed by uncertainty and could not envision a successful future for herself.
Bukky Wright also disclosed that she once battled feelings of hopelessness following the separation, believing her life might not amount to much.
However, she noted that her story eventually changed as she went on to build a successful career in Nollywood and became a respected figure in the industry.
She said, “I wear so many caps. And to the glory of God, my scar to shine is so funny. I don’t know if I’ve ever said this before, and if I have said it, I don’t think I’ve ever said it enough.

Reports indicate that during a livestream session, Carter Efe urged fans to stop mentioning Chike’s name in his comment section, saying the ongoing allegations have caused him emotional distress.

In a recent interview with Beat FM Lagos, the “Oleku” crooner explained that his transformation was achieved naturally, stressing that he did not use Ozempic or any other weight-loss medication during the process.
He also hinted at stepping back from music, revealing that his upcoming project may be his final album.
Speaking on his personal life, Ice Prince said he intends to get married when he turns 40, adding that he is currently focused on his career and personal goals.
“I didn’t use Ozempic for my weight loss. I have never used drugs or anything like that before. Honestly, I feel like this album I am about to drop will be my last album ever. I am going to be 40 years in about 3 years. Hopefully, when I am 40, I intend to get married,” he said.
The rapper noted that he is not actively searching for a partner at the moment, saying he is “chasing goals” for now.
He also recently shared that quitting smoking and cutting out alcohol, soda, and energy drinks has significantly improved his wellbeing, saying the lifestyle change has made him feel healthier and happier.
According to him, he has been nearly a year free from alcohol and other caffeinated or sugary drinks, describing the experience as freeing and life-changing.
