Fadeyi, who represents Ona Ara State Constituency, also instructed the party’s leadership to completely erase his personal details from its register and official database.
His resignation was formally communicated in a letter sent to the PDP chairman of Ward 8 in Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The letter, which was released to journalists on Friday, clearly stated his desire for all records connected to him to be removed from the party’s register and website.
The lawmaker explained that his exit was necessary to allow him pursue his political ambitions through another platform ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“I wish to write to inform you of my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to the lingering and unresolved internal crisis rocking the party,” Fadeyi stated.
He further wrote, “Kindly delete my record and information from the party register and website completely. This is to allow me to complete and advance my political interest on another platform.”
Despite leaving the party, Fadeyi expressed appreciation for the opportunities he had while serving under the PDP.
“I sincerely appreciate and am grateful for everything I have been able to achieve with the party,” he added.
He concluded the letter by extending his highest regards to the party leadership.
