Political Firestorm: Turaki-Led PDP Group Confronts Wike In Office Sealing Drama.

The Kabiru Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has openly challenged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to carry out his threat of shutting down its operational office in Abuja.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The confrontation followed Wike’s remarks during his monthly media chat earlier in the week, where he questioned the legitimacy of the Turaki-led faction and demanded that the group prove its authenticity through transparent operations.

Wike had also warned that any building being used by the faction for political activities could be sealed.

Reacting to the threat, former PDP Deputy National Publicity Secretary and private principal secretary to Turaki, Ibrahim Abdullahi, said the faction is already functioning from a temporary office in Abuja.

He insisted that Wike was fully aware of the office’s location and challenged him to act on his threat if he truly could.

“We have been operating from an office. He knows the location; he should come there and take over the office if he can,” Abdullahi said.

He added that although the office is temporary, it remains fully functional for meetings and party activities.

Abdullahi also warned that the worsening crisis within the PDP could push the country toward a deeper state of political instability, describing it as a dangerous slide into disorder.

Ememobong Dismisses Wike’s Threat

Also reacting, the spokesperson of the Turaki faction, Ini Ememobong, dismissed Wike’s comments as unrealistic.

He argued that the FCT minister was already aware that the faction operates legitimate party accounts, making threats about banking restrictions baseless.

Ememobong further alleged that while the faction maintains official financial structures, individuals aligned with Wike were allegedly receiving party funds through private accounts.

He maintained that Wike’s statements reflected political intimidation rather than genuine authority over the faction’s operations.

Otti: Is It Not Embarrassing That Illusory Self-praise Govt Is Desperately Shopping For Endorsements? – APC.

Published

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied reports claiming that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, endorsed Governor Alex Otti for re-election in 2027.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

reports that the APC Publicity Secretary in Abia State, Uche Aguoru, dismissed the alleged endorsement in a statement issued on Friday, describing it as misleading, malicious, and a fabricated propaganda being circulated by the governor’s media team.

The party also criticised what it described as attempts by the Otti administration to seek validation, questioning why a government it accused of self-praise was allegedly “shopping for endorsements.”

Aguoru said the party would ordinarily not have responded but chose to clarify the matter to prevent the public from being misled by false information.

According to the statement, “Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu remains a loyal, committed, and dedicated party man, as well as the undisputed leader of the APC in Abia State.”

It further stressed that Kalu has never at any time, publicly or privately, endorsed Governor Otti for a second term.

The APC maintained that the Deputy Speaker remains fully committed to strengthening the party’s chances in future elections and ensuring victory across all positions in Abia State, including the governorship in 2027.

It added that Kalu remains resolute in his opposition to the current Labour Party-led administration in the state, which the party accused of poor governance and mismanagement in key sectors.

The statement urged residents of Abia State to remain united and continue supporting the APC, which it described as a credible alternative capable of delivering better governance in the state.
