In a circular jointly signed by SSANU National President and JAC Chairman, Comrade Mohammed Ibrahim, and NASU General Secretary, Prince Peters Adeyemi, branch leaders were informed that the suspension takes effect from Monday, May 11, 2026. The circular noted that the leadership of JAC had engaged in a series of negotiations with government representatives since the commencement of the strike on May 1, 2026, aimed at addressing members’ demands.
