The Emirates Stadium was already buzzing long before kick-off, as fans welcomed the team bus with banners and created a powerful atmosphere following the 1-1 draw in the first leg in Spain.

Saka struck the decisive goal just before half-time in the second leg, helping Arsenal secure a 2-1 aggregate win and a ticket to the final in Budapest on May 30.

Speaking to Amazon Prime, the England international said the support from the stands left a strong impression on the team.

“It’s so beautiful. We’re all so happy. This was a high-pressure game, we managed it well to get to the final,” Saka said.

“It started before the game, I’ve never seen anything like it. They pushed us during the game. Let’s celebrate it together. There’s no way you’ll come to this situation and not have pressure. It’s a semi-final and we’re fighting for the Premier League. We block it out and focus on getting the job done.”

Henry Praises Saka’s Determination Amid Injury Struggles

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry also revealed he had a private conversation with Saka during his recent injury spell, commending his resilience and commitment after returning to action.

Henry noted that Saka has faced constant scrutiny throughout the season but has continued to prove his value on the pitch despite setbacks.

“I would love to see if we can speak to Bukayo because I want him to explain to people that being a footballer is not always about the glamorous moments,” Henry said.

“He’s been questioned all season. Can he be the guy? Is he the star boy or not? Today he had to play with barely any training. I know he’s dealing with an Achilles issue.

“He came back and told me: ‘I’ve got to be on the pitch. I’ve got to be on the pitch against Fulham. It’s do or die.’

“So you have to give those guys a lot of credit. People forget players go through injuries and still deliver when it matters.”
