Sani Adamu Wakili, who represents the Minjibir/Ungogo Federal Constituency, confirmed his resignation in a letter dated May 2, 2026. The letter was addressed to the party chairman in Zango Ward, Ungogo Local Government Area, with his exit taking immediate effect.

Wakili explained that recent developments within the party at the national level made it difficult for him to remain actively involved or contribute meaningfully to its activities. However, he assured that his commitment to his constituents and public service would continue despite leaving the party.

Similarly, Yusuf Umar Datti, who represents the Kura/Madobi/Garun Malam Federal Constituency, also tendered his resignation on the same day.

Datti’s letter, addressed to the party chairman in Tanawa Ward, Kura Local Government Area, also took immediate effect.

He cited similar concerns about developments at the national level of the ADC, which he said affected his ability to participate effectively in party affairs. Like Wakili, he emphasized that his dedication to serving his constituents remains unchanged, pledging to continue prioritising their interests regardless of his political affiliation.
