The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has made it clear that Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will continue to serve as an ordained pastor in the church.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Adeboye made the declaration during RCCG’s monthly Holy Ghost Service, where he addressed concerns surrounding her position.

He explained that Oluremi Tinubu was ordained as an Assistant Pastor more than ten years ago, well before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu began his journey toward the presidency.

According to him, her ordination was properly carried out in line with the church’s established procedures, and she has not violated any RCCG doctrine or rule.

Adeboye also rejected demands from critics calling for her removal, stressing that the church would not yield to outside pressure regarding its internal decisions.

Meanwhile, the revered cleric also opened up about how he managed expensive gifts in the early days of his ministry.

Speaking during a thanksgiving service, Adeboye recounted how an elderly woman once gifted him a Mercedes-Benz at a time when he still relied on public transportation.

He said he initially left the vehicle unused because he was uncertain about accepting such a gift, but a dream later made him realize that rejecting it was hindering the giver’s blessing.

Acting on that conviction, he handed the car over to his late deputy, Pastor Abiodun, despite being encouraged to keep and enjoy it.

Adeboye revealed that he later received three additional Mercedes-Benz vehicles, a development that left him astonished.

He particularly recalled an unusual incident when a man arrived at his home around 2:00 AM with a rare six-door Mercedes limousine, claiming God had instructed him to deliver it.

After praying about it, Adeboye said he felt led to sell the luxury vehicle.

He eventually sold the limousine and used the proceeds to purchase motorcycles for his pastors, demonstrating his commitment to channeling personal gifts toward the welfare of others.

He said, “I almost said, ‘Alakoba wo le leyi?’ I hope this one is not trying to get me into trouble.

“Why are you robbing my daughter of her blessing? She sowed a seed, and you are not allowing the seed to germinate.

“Even if I die and they put me in this car, I will wake up. Will you permit me to sell the car?

“I remember I sold it and used the money to buy motorcycles for my pastors.”
