In a statement issued on Monday, the anti-graft agency said the 41-year-old is being sought in connection with an ongoing investigation into obtaining money by false pretence.

The EFCC noted that Tejuosho is from Lagos State, with her last known residence at Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.

“Anybody with useful information as to her whereabouts should please contact the Commission… or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies,” the statement added.

According to the commission, she was previously under investigation over an alleged job and contract scam.

She was questioned in June 2025 after complaints that she collected money from victims while claiming she could secure federal government employment and contracts.

She is also accused of issuing fake appointment letters and forged documents to support the alleged scheme.

Tejuosho, who reportedly runs Haleems Integrated Services Limited, was earlier granted administrative bail while investigations continued.

City Boy Movement Reacts

Following the EFCC’s declaration, the City Boy Movement announced her suspension as the South-West women’s wing coordinator.

In a statement, the group said the suspension takes immediate effect pending the outcome of investigations.

It explained that the decision was taken to protect the credibility and integrity of the organisation.

The group added that the action would ensure the ongoing investigation is not influenced or obstructed in any way.

It also reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy for misconduct, stressing that it would not condone actions capable of damaging its reputation.

Emefiele Trial: Police Witness Ties $6.23m Withdrawal To Alleged Fraud.

The trial of former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, resumed on Tuesday at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, where a prosecution witness alleged that suspects admitted to illegally withdrawing $6.23 million from the apex bank.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Commissioner of Police, Eloho Edwin Okpoziakpo, gave the testimony before Justice Hamza Muazu at the Maitama Division of the court in Abuja.

Emefiele is standing trial on a 20-count charge involving criminal breach of trust, forgery, abuse of office, and conspiracy to obtain money under false pretence in suit number FCT/HC/CR/577/2023. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

While testifying, Okpoziakpo said he was part of a special investigative team set up to support a presidential probe into the activities of the CBN and other government institutions.

He explained that his responsibilities included interviewing suspects, recording statements, and assisting with intelligence gathering during the investigation.

According to him, findings from the probe indicated that the funds were unlawfully accessed, with some suspects— including one identified as Maishanu— allegedly confessing their involvement.

He further told the court that the money was said to have been released under the claim that it was meant for international election observers during the 2023 general elections.

However, he stated that the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation denied ever requesting such funds, adding that the office formally responded to inquiries on the matter.

The witness also said the withdrawal was supported by official documents, including an alleged approval letter attributed to former President Muhammadu Buhari dated January 24, 2023.

He referenced several exhibits presented in court, including a request for the release of the $6.23 million and the purported presidential approval that authorised the payment.

Okpoziakpo added that additional records obtained from the CBN’s Abuja branch showed details of the cash disbursement in $100 bills, along with internal memos approving the transaction.

After hearing the testimony, Justice Muazu adjourned the case to July 2, 2026, for continuation of trial proceedings.
