“‘PDP Will Not Die Under Our Watch’ – Saraki Vows”.

Saraki made the statement in a Facebook post on Monday, recalling that he first spoke these words on Sunday during the PDP National Convention in Abuja, which he described as successfully conducted. He emphasized that the conclusion of the convention has now turned his words into action.
Looking ahead, the former Kwara State Governor stressed that the PDP must prioritize reconciliation within the party. He assured that the PDP is firmly positioned as a credible platform to contest the 2027 elections and offer Nigerians a viable alternative.
Saraki also congratulated the newly elected National Working Committee (NWC) and called on all party members to unite in strengthening and repositioning the PDP.
“With that clarity, what matters now is our next steps. We must remain focused on reconciliation, reinforce our processes, and build the unity needed to win.
“For every aspirant and supporter who has stayed committed, the PDP now provides a strong and credible platform to achieve their ambitions ahead of 2027. For the doubters, there is no room for uncertainty — the PDP will be on the ballot and provide Nigerians with a credible alternative.
“I congratulate all members of the new executive committee and other leaders who have taken on responsibilities. Their mandate is clear: to secure victories for the PDP at all levels in the 2027 elections. They must not fail; in fact, they must deliver results that surprise everyone.
“To everyone who has remained faithful to this party, thank you,” Saraki concluded.
