Speaking in an interview with Biola Bayo, Baba Ijesha revealed that Bobrisky showed clear signs of distress upon arrival, appearing fearful and overwhelmed by the situation.

He dismissed claims that Bobrisky received special treatment or was housed in a hotel, stating instead that he struggled to adjust inside the cell.

Baba Ijesha also noted that beyond the flamboyant personality seen online, Bobrisky has a different side—one marked by kindness and reliability.

According to him, Bobrisky often shared his meals with fellow inmates whenever food was brought to him. He added that Bobrisky’s mother regularly provided food, sometimes cooking for a large number of prisoners.

“When Bobrisky got to the cell, he was crying and rolling on the floor. It’s not true that he was taken to a hotel. Although he behaves like a cartoon, he is actually very reliable. Whenever food was brought, he shared it with others. His mum used to bring the food.
She would cook for many prisoners and was always emotional. The outfits Bobrisky wears are part of how he makes money. He is a very kind person,” Baba Ijesha said.

Nigerian singer Omawumi Megbele, popularly known as Omawumi, has said that love has always been transactional.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

She made the statement during an interview with Pulse while reacting to ongoing debates about modern relationships being overly transactional.

According to the ‘Bottom Belle’ singer, the concept isn’t new but has evolved over time, becoming more demanding compared to earlier years.

She explained that in the past, simple gestures like buying ice cream or popcorn were enough to impress a woman, but today, expectations have grown significantly due to modern lifestyle and economic realities.

Omawumi also noted that society often exaggerates the transactional nature of relationships by overlooking the role women play in reciprocation. She added that many men who complain about such dynamics often choose partners with expensive tastes.

“Love has always been transactional. Women have always been demanding since the beginning of time. Back then, you could impress your crush with ice cream and popcorn, but now it’s something like an iPhone,” she said.

In a related development, the singer recently spoke about her past relationships with late rapper Dagrin and late producer Dokta Frabz during an interview with Jay On Air.

She described her relationship with Dagrin as purely platonic, noting that they were close and spent time together but were never romantically involved, despite past rumours following their 2009 collaboration, “Thank God.”

However, Omawumi confirmed that she was romantically involved with the late producer Dokta Frabz.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted approval for a fresh legal move seeking to compel the Nigeria Police Force to reopen investigations into the death of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohbad).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The ruling was delivered on Wednesday by Justice James Omotosho following an application filed by the Registered Trustees of Break the Silence Foundation, a civil society organisation.

The group approached the court through its counsel, asking for permission to seek an order directing the police to conduct a more thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.

The suit lists the Inspector-General of Police, the Nigeria Police Force, and the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, as respondents.

Mohbad died in September 2023 in Lagos, a case that sparked widespread public outrage and calls for justice both within Nigeria and internationally.

In its ruling, the court allowed the group to pursue orders compelling the police to carry out their statutory duties under the Police Act, including questioning individuals last seen with the singer such as his wife, close associates, and his father, and taking further action where necessary.

The court also approved substituted service on the Lagos State Police Command through the office of the Inspector-General of Police’s Legal Department in Abuja.

The case has been adjourned to May 4 for further hearing.

According to court documents, the organisation argued that the initial investigation into Mohbad’s death was inadequate and possibly compromised.

It further claimed that although a nurse linked to his treatment before death was arrested and prosecuted, several key persons were not properly investigated.

The group also noted that although the matter was initially moved to Abuja for a fresh probe following public pressure, it was later returned to Lagos without a conclusive outcome.
