“$10M Reward: US Seeks Information On Iran’s Supreme Leader”.

Published

The United States Department of State has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information about several Iranian officials, including Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The reward was revealed on Friday through the department’s Rewards for Justice Programme, which said it was seeking information on individuals it described as “Iranian terrorist leaders.”

The announcement appeared in a poster shared on (formerly Twitter) by the programme.

According to the poster, the listed individuals “command and direct different elements of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which plans, coordinates and carries out terrorist activities globally.”

Among those named are Iran’s Minister of Intelligence, Esmail Khatib; Deputy Chief of Staff to the Supreme Leader, Ali Asghar Hejazi; Senior Military Adviser, Yahya Rahim Safavi; and Interior Minister, Eskandar Momeni.

Also included is Ali Larijani, who currently serves as Secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council.

The poster further referenced several other roles without identifying specific individuals, such as the secretary of the Supreme Defence Council, the head of the Supreme Leader’s military office, the commander-in-chief of the IRGC, and an adviser to the Supreme Leader.

The programme said anyone with useful information about these officials, senior IRGC commanders, or their networks can submit tips through encrypted messaging platforms or via a communication channel on the Tor network.

It added that credible intelligence could earn informants a reward of up to $10 million, along with the possibility of relocation.

The announcement comes amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran following recent leadership changes in Tehran.

Mojtaba Khamenei became Iran’s Supreme Leader on March 8 after the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, who was reportedly killed in the early phase of the ongoing conflict involving Iran and a US-Israel coalition.

The 56-year-old cleric was chosen by the Assembly of Experts, the influential clerical body responsible for appointing Iran’s supreme leader.

After his selection, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps pledged loyalty to him as tensions with the United States and Israel intensified.

In his first message after assuming office, Khamenei vowed that Iran would continue retaliatory actions against its opponents.

He warned that the confrontation would persist until what he described as justice for Iranian casualties is achieved.

The statement, delivered through state television rather than in person, also threatened continued pressure on key oil routes in the Gulf and warned neighbouring countries hosting US military bases that they could face retaliation.

His absence from public appearances since taking office has sparked speculation about his health, with some US officials suggesting he may have been injured during the conflict.

However, Iranian authorities maintain that the new leader remains active and fully in charge of the country’s affairs.

Gbenjo’s warning comes amid growing controversy surrounding the late singer’s death and burial arrangements, with reports of disagreements among members of his family.

The gospel singer spoke on Tuesday during a night of tributes held in honour of Toluwanisings in Ibadan, Oyo State. He warned against allowing the situation to degenerate into a controversy similar to the one that followed the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.

Describing the deceased as a devoted Christian and a genuine servant of God, Gbenjo said Toluwanisings was passionate about his faith and had a good relationship with people.

He urged the public to stop fuelling unnecessary controversy over the late singer’s death, particularly through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

“You can never see Toluwani in the midst of jobless people. He had a good heart. He was a friend to everybody. He served the Lord with all his heart. Don’t turn Toluwani into Mohbad. That madness on TikTok and Instagram must stop. If you are jobless, go and look for a job,” Gbenjo said.

Woli Agba disclosed this in a public notice shared on his Instagram page on Sunday.

In the notice issued by their solicitors, Gemgold, the comedians warned members of the public against publishing or circulating allegations they described as false and defamatory against them.
