Trump made the remark on Thursday at the White House while hosting players and officials of Inter Miami CF, champions of the 2025 Major League Soccer season.

During the event, the US leader addressed the continuing military operations involving the United States and its ally Israel against Iran.

He noted that his administration’s immediate priority remains the situation in Iran.

Speaking to the audience, which included several attendees of Cuban heritage, Trump also referenced developments related to Cuba and suggested that attention could eventually turn to the island nation once the conflict with Iran is resolved.

“What’s happening with Cuba is amazing. We think that we want to fix, finish this one first, but that will be just a question of time before you and a lot of unbelievable people are going to be going back to Cuba, hopefully not to stay,” he said.

His remarks indicated that Washington could consider addressing issues concerning Cuba after concluding its current military campaign connected to the Iran crisis.

The comments come at a time when tensions across the Middle East continue to escalate.

The United States and Israel remain engaged in military actions linked to Iran, with the confrontation entering another week and drawing widespread global attention.

Trump also informed attendees at the event that American and Israeli forces were continuing their operations as the situation develops.

Gbenjo’s warning comes amid growing controversy surrounding the late singer’s death and burial arrangements, with reports of disagreements among members of his family.

The gospel singer spoke on Tuesday during a night of tributes held in honour of Toluwanisings in Ibadan, Oyo State. He warned against allowing the situation to degenerate into a controversy similar to the one that followed the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.

Describing the deceased as a devoted Christian and a genuine servant of God, Gbenjo said Toluwanisings was passionate about his faith and had a good relationship with people.

He urged the public to stop fuelling unnecessary controversy over the late singer’s death, particularly through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

“You can never see Toluwani in the midst of jobless people. He had a good heart. He was a friend to everybody. He served the Lord with all his heart. Don’t turn Toluwani into Mohbad. That madness on TikTok and Instagram must stop. If you are jobless, go and look for a job,” Gbenjo said.
