Liam Rosenior has revealed that three players will be unavailable for Chelsea F.C. ahead of their high-stakes Premier League clash with Arsenal F.C......KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Blues head to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening for the London derby, but will be without some key names. Speaking at Cobham on February 27, Rosenior confirmed that Reece James is fully fit and available, handing the squad a timely boost.

He also provided encouraging updates on Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo, stating both are progressing well in their recovery. However, Estevao Willian, Jamie Gittens, and Marc Cucurella will miss the encounter.

“Reece is absolutely fine,” Rosenior said. “Romeo is getting stronger and stronger. We had a practice match during the week where he looked sharp. Estevao will be out a bit longer, Jamie is progressing in his rehab, and Cucu won’t be available on Sunday. Dario is back training as well.”

Chelsea will be aiming to bounce back following their Carabao Cup semi-final exit, a result that left fans disappointed. Reflecting on the setback, Rosenior admitted the team struggled with squad availability and could have shown more attacking intent across both legs.

On the European front, Luis Enrique, manager of Paris Saint-Germain F.C., has downplayed any talk of revenge after being drawn against Chelsea in the Champions League Round of 16. The tie marks their first meeting in the competition since the 2015–2016 season, with the first leg set for Paris on March 11.

Enrique insisted the matchup is simply another major test rather than an opportunity for payback following their previous Club World Cup encounter.

“Nobody expected us to win the Champions League last season. This is a completely different scenario,” he said. “We’re happy with the draw. It will be interesting to face one of the best English teams. There’s no revenge on our minds — it’s a different competition.

“We are the current champions, so other teams must prepare to face us. We’re pleased to be at this stage because it shows we’ve qualified, and the decisive part of the season is here.”

Sanusi said the police received a distress call from Kubwa Market, located in the Bwari Area Council, reporting that a man was shooting into the air.

Gbenjo’s warning comes amid growing controversy surrounding the late singer’s death and burial arrangements, with reports of disagreements among members of his family.

The gospel singer spoke on Tuesday during a night of tributes held in honour of Toluwanisings in Ibadan, Oyo State. He warned against allowing the situation to degenerate into a controversy similar to the one that followed the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.

Describing the deceased as a devoted Christian and a genuine servant of God, Gbenjo said Toluwanisings was passionate about his faith and had a good relationship with people.

He urged the public to stop fuelling unnecessary controversy over the late singer’s death, particularly through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

“You can never see Toluwani in the midst of jobless people. He had a good heart. He was a friend to everybody. He served the Lord with all his heart. Don’t turn Toluwani into Mohbad. That madness on TikTok and Instagram must stop. If you are jobless, go and look for a job,” Gbenjo said.

Meanwhile, comedians Ayobami Ajewole, popularly known as Woli Agba, and Olamide Oladimeji, also known as Dele Omo Woli, have threatened legal action against individuals allegedly linking them to Toluwanisings’ death.

Woli Agba disclosed this in a public notice shared on his Instagram page on Sunday.

In the notice issued by their solicitors, Gemgold, the comedians warned members of the public against publishing or circulating allegations they described as false and defamatory against them.

The legal notice maintained that the allegations were baseless and intended to damage the reputations of the two entertainers.

During the proceedings, El-Rufai’s lawyer, Ubong Akpan, arrived in court and apologised for his lateness.

When Akpan sought the court’s permission to adopt his client’s processes, Justice Abdulmalik informed him that the documents had already been deemed adopted.
