Aregbesola stressed the importance of continuous collaboration with the national leadership to ensure the proper harmonisation, validation, and accuracy of party officers in every state.

The former Osun governor made the remarks during an ADC stakeholders’ meeting held in Ibadan, Oyo State, highlighting the party’s organisational stability and its expanding influence across the South-West.

“Unity, discipline, and effective coordination are essential for building a strong party that can offer Nigerians a credible, people-focused alternative,” he said.

He added that the ADC remains committed to deepening democratic values, reinforcing internal structures, and positioning itself as a viable force for national development.

The meeting featured detailed reports from state leaders across the South-West, showcasing the party’s structure, grassroots reach, and readiness.

The session began with Ekiti State ADC Chairman, Ilesanmi Omolayo, and concluded with Lagos State ADC Chairman, Ashiru George, who shared encouraging updates on party activities in their respective states.

During the meeting, the names of South-West officers serving at the national level were formally read and acknowledged for their contributions to the party’s growth.

National officers from the region include Akinbolawale Omole as National Vice Chairman, Captain Tunji Shelle as National Director of Communication and Programmes, and Professor Bode Ayorinde as Diversity and Inclusion Secretary. Others are Fabiyi Oladimeji, Deputy National Financial Secretary; Alhaja Khafilat Omolabake Olayiwola, Deputy National Women Leader; Olufemi Adeleye, Deputy Coordinator, Diaspora; and Mrs. Yidiat Omolara Oseni, Assistant National Organising Secretary.

The statement was signed by Abosede Busayo Oluwaseun, Chairman of the Directorate of Media and Publicity, Osun ADC, reaffirming the party’s commitment to unity and stronger structures across the region.

Stakeholders at the meeting renewed their pledge to uphold discipline and effective coordination, with the aim of positioning the ADC as a credible alternative for Nigerians in upcoming elections.
