Arsenal 3-0 Sunderland
Arsenal strengthened their hold on the Premier League title race with a comfortable home win over Sunderland, as Viktor Gyokeres scored twice to stretch the Gunners’ lead at the top to nine points.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Mikel Arteta’s side faced early resistance, with Sunderland defending deep and threatening on the break. Brian Brobbey caused problems upfront, while Kai Havertz cleared a goal-bound effort after David Raya spilled a long ball.

The breakthrough came when Martin Zubimendi struck a superb effort that clipped the post before finding the net past Robin Roefs. Arsenal continued to press, with Havertz and Declan Rice both going close with curling shots.

Substitute Gyokeres then took centre stage, firing home from close range in the 66th minute after a setup from Havertz, before adding a second in stoppage time, tapping in a low Gabriel Martinelli cross.

With Aston Villa held by Bournemouth and Manchester City idle until Sunday, Arsenal’s win reinforces their title credentials and ramps up pressure on their closest rivals.

Chelsea 4-1 Wolves
Chelsea cruised to a dominant away win over bottom club Wolves, powered by a sensational first-half hat-trick from Cole Palmer.

Palmer, who had scored just four league goals this season, nearly matched that tally in one game. He opened from the penalty spot after Joao Pedro was fouled, converted a second penalty following another foul on Pedro, and completed his treble in the 38th minute with a composed finish from Marc Cucurella’s pass.

In doing so, Palmer became the first player in Premier League history to score three first-half hat-tricks.

Wolves pushed harder in the second half, with Mateus Mane hitting the woodwork and Arokodare scoring from a corner, but Chelsea remained composed to secure the win. The result marks four consecutive Premier League victories under Liam Rosenior, keeping Chelsea fifth, just a point behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

Bournemouth 1-1 Aston Villa
At the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth held Aston Villa to a 1-1 draw in a match highlighted by teenager Rayan’s breakthrough goal.

Villa opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Morgan Rogers, who combined with Jadon Sancho before firing high into the net. Rayan, making his first start after joining from Vasco da Gama for an initial £24.7 million, equalised shortly after the restart, running past Lucas Digne to finish low past Emiliano Martinez.

Bournemouth pressed for a winner, but Ryan Christie’s late strike was tipped over the bar by Martinez. The draw left Villa third, level on points with Manchester City but having played a game more, nine points behind leaders Arsenal.

Burnley 0-2 West Ham
West Ham boosted their survival hopes with a crucial away win at Burnley. Though still 18th, the Hammers are now just three points from safety, while Burnley remain second from bottom, 11 points behind Nottingham Forest in 17th.

Crysencio Summerville opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a composed finish over goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, marking his fifth goal in five matches across all competitions. Argentina forward Taty Castellanos doubled the lead before halftime, heading in a precise cross from El Hadji Malick Diouf following a slick Summerville touch.

Burnley pushed in the second half, but Zian Flemming and Marcus Edwards missed key chances, allowing West Ham to secure a vital three points.

Everton 2-1 Fulham
Everton claimed a 2-1 win over Fulham in a tight contest. The Toffees benefited from an early own goal by Fulham’s Bernd Leno, before Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall restored Everton’s advantage in the 75th minute. Another late own goal from Leno sealed a dramatic finish for Everton.
