He made the remarks on Sunday during the 2026 Holy Ghost Rally organized by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Represented by his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, Fubara highlighted the state’s resilience and faith in God as key to overcoming difficult times. “With the Almighty God on our side, our challenges are surmountable and our future remains hopeful,” he said.

On the rally’s theme, “The All-Sufficient God,” the governor described it as timely and comforting, especially amid political uncertainty and public concerns. “The theme reminds us that even in uncertain times, God remains a source of wisdom, strength, provision, and grace. When human efforts fall short, divine grace prevails,” he added.

Fubara also expressed gratitude to the RCCG for its spiritual guidance, prayers, and promotion of unity, peace, and moral values across communities in Rivers State and Nigeria.

Delivering the sermon, RCCG General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye referenced Genesis 17:1, declaring God as all-sufficient and capable of meeting every human need. He reminded worshippers that human efforts and medical science have limits, but God’s power is limitless. “There’s no problem too big for God. Even in hopeless situations, He can restore and revive,” Adeboye said.

The rally attracted worshippers from across the South-South region and beyond, offering residents a powerful message of hope, faith, and resilience. For Fubara’s administration, the event also reinforced spiritual solidarity with the people during a period of political tension and leadership challenges.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the LoveWorld Nation and Evangelist Tonto Dikeh have recently captured the public imagination, rising above their critics through impactful actions. Their recent strides fulfill the biblical promise in Luke 21:15, which states that God will provide a mouth and wisdom that adversaries cannot resist or gainsay.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

  • The New Economy Unveiling (NEU) 2026: Pastor Chris made waves across social media and mainstream media by announcing LoveWorld’s entry into Nigeria’s technology and mobility sector.

  • The Tsion Electric Vehicles: The newly introduced luxury electric vehicle line under the Tsion brand features SUVs, sports cars, coupes, and convertibles, including models like the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision Series, and OG Series.

  • Broader Economic Impact: Alongside the vehicles, the event introduced a “wealth liquefaction” scheme focused on turning waste into profit. Commenting on the milestone, Pastor Bolaji Idowu praised the initiative as a demonstration of the church leading in the marketplace.

Tonto Dikeh’s Philanthropy and Ministry Milestones

  • Church-Building Support Initiative: Despite debates over her rapid transition into ministry, Tonto Dikeh’s New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle announced plans to renovate churches, repair altars, and donate buildings under a divine directive.

  • Honoring a Mentor: These charitable actions, including honoring Pastor Jerry Eze’s birthday, also saw the ministry clear hospital bills for newborns in Abuja and Port Harcourt on August 22nd.

  • Clerical Support: Echoing the need for such grassroots backing, Pastor Emmanuel Iren noted that many smaller congregations struggle deeply with basic expenses like building rent.

Navigating Criticism and Public Skepticism

Both religious leaders have faced their share of skepticism—ranging from critics questioning the viability of LoveWorld’s electric vehicles and legal framework, to cynics doubting Tonto Dikeh’s rapid spiritual transformation. However, supporters point out that deep spiritual impact and marketplace innovation often invite heavy scrutiny. Ultimately, as historical ministry figures like 91-year-old R.T. Kendall suggest, knowing the Word and staying true to a divine call supersedes conventional seminary traditions, proving once again that wisdom is justified by her deeds.
