In a viral video circulating online, the singer addressed social media critics who have mocked and bullied him, saying the difficulties he endured were overwhelming.

Lyta stressed that those ridiculing him would not have survived the same experiences, noting that his journey pushed him to the edge.

“I don’t wish what I went through on anybody. You wouldn’t be able to handle it. If you experienced what I did, you’d have given up. That’s why you’re bullying. Big shoutout to my parents and siblings for not giving up on me,” he said.

Meanwhile, singer Simi has also shared details about the health challenges she battled while working on her latest single, Where You Dey, featuring Chike.

Taking to her X account, Simi revealed that she initially planned to release the song last year but had to postpone it due to health issues.

She explained that although she was excited about the project, the period was physically exhausting and emotionally draining.

“I really, really, really wanted to drop this song last year. When I first put out the snippet, I was so excited, but it was hard to finish it on time because everything was a blur,” she wrote.

The award-winning artiste made the revelation in the lyrics of his new song Moviestar, a collaboration with French pianist Sofiane Pamart.

Rema, who rose to prominence after signing with Mavin Records and dropping his debut EP in 2019 at just 19, suggested that his early breakthrough came with difficulties that are not visible to the public.
