According to Nivo News, Okowa made the remarks during a meeting with APC leaders and stakeholders from the Ika federal constituency in Agbor, Ika Local Government Area. The event, which focused on updates regarding the party’s electronic membership registration, was also attended by APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka.

Okowa emphasized that the presence and quality of party leadership at the meeting should reassure members and dispel any political doubts within the constituency. He highlighted that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was the first in the state to publicly align with the APC and stressed that Delta’s election results would carry national significance.

Cautioning against internal divisions, Okowa stressed that party unity is essential for electoral success. “If we resolve, collectively and immediately, to work together, we can command political dominance across all 26 wards of the Ika federal constituency. Delta state is a model,” he said. “Our governor was the first to align openly and decisively with Mr President, and because of that, the eyes of the nation are upon us. The results from Delta will speak loudly across Nigeria.”
