During an Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, Daniels revealed that warrants have reportedly been issued for her and her family members following Nwoko’s accusations. She questioned the legitimacy of the claims, noting that the Delta State politician does not keep large sums of money at home. “He’s saying that we stole $40,000 from his house, whereas he doesn’t even keep money in the house,” Daniels stated.

Meanwhile, actress Georgina Onuoha has criticized Senator Nwoko over his public statements accusing Daniels of drug use. Nwoko’s media team denied allegations of domestic abuse, describing the claims as an attempt to deflect attention from long-standing health and behavioural concerns. They also highlighted that independent toxicology reports confirmed the misuse of substances, which they say prompted Nwoko to encourage professional help and structured rehabilitation. The team further clarified that financial restrictions implemented by the senator were aimed at preventing harmful behaviour, not as punishment.

Reacting to the senator’s statements, Onuoha condemned what she described as a “persistent online witch-hunt” against Daniels. She argued that Nwoko’s actions reflect the behaviour of a malignant narcissist and that he urgently requires psychological rehabilitation rather than his estranged wife. Onuoha emphasized that if any harm were to come to Daniels, accountability must rest solely with Nwoko.

He warned against dragging the state into fresh tension, accusing the state government of attempting to revive old allegations for political advantage.

Adewara said the PDP would not remain silent while what he called “political narratives” are used to influence public perception around a tragic incident that claimed multiple lives in Offa in 2018.
