Fear has gripped Abuja following the discovery of two women found dead under alarming circumstances in the Federal Capital Territory, according to Nivo News. The body of a nurse, Chinemerem Chuwumeziem of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jabi, was discovered days after she failed to return home from her afternoon shift on January 3, 2026. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, which residents say fits the pattern of targeted attacks on commuters.

In a separate incident, the lifeless body of Princess Chigbo Mediatrix, an Abuja-based lawyer believed to be a former treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch, was found along the Kubwa Expressway. Documents recovered at the scene suggest she may have been a staff member of the FCT High Court, though officials there could not immediately confirm her employment. Observers noted that her bag was found a short distance from her body, reinforcing suspicions of robbery-related violence.

The spate of attacks has raised alarm among residents and public servants, who have called on security agencies to provide timely information and strengthen safety measures. Ismail Umar, a civil servant in Jabi, criticized the lack of official updates, while Agnes Attah urged the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, to address lingering security gaps across the city.

The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) condemned the killing of Chuwumeziem, describing it as a tragic loss for healthcare workers who serve on the frontlines. The FCT Police Command confirmed both incidents, suggesting preliminary links to “one-chance” gangs, and assured the public that investigations are ongoing. Joint patrols have been intensified, with security operatives checking unmarked vehicles along major routes to curb the menace.

There Is Nobody That Can Please A Woman – Funke Adejumo To Married Men

Published

  • During a recent address to congregants, renowned Nigerian preacher and marriage counselor, Reverend Funke Felix-Adejumo, warned married men against compromising their health or well-being in an exhaustive effort to please their wives.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

    • Adejumo argued that it is fundamentally impossible for any man to completely satisfy a woman, suggesting that a woman’s nature is to constantly seek enhancement and change.

    • As an example, she pointed to common beauty practices—such as replacing natural nails, hair, and eyebrows—to illustrate that since women alter what God has given them, they cannot be fully pleased by human effort.

    • She advised husbands to focus on doing their best to provide for their families without placing undue pressure on themselves that could lead to severe health consequences.

    • Shifting her message to the women in the audience, Bishop Adejumo strongly advocated for female financial independence, urging wives to cultivate their own income rather than relying solely on their husbands.

    • Using biblical references and personal anecdotes—including gifting her husband 61 items for his 60th birthday—she encouraged women to move beyond dependency and empower themselves to contribute to the marriage, and even surprise their spouses, with their own resources.
