The APC chairman made the statement on Tuesday during a stakeholders’ meeting for the Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency held in Pankshin, Plateau State. He noted that the party is now significantly stronger in Plateau than it was in 2023, with former opponents, including the state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, commissioners, local government chairmen, and other political figures, now aligning with the APC.

“All the obstacles we faced in 2023 no longer exist. Those who opposed us previously have now joined our ranks. With this alignment, Plateau is set to deliver one million votes for President Tinubu,” he stated. Yilwatda also described the PKK constituency as a traditional APC stronghold, recalling that President Tinubu received some of his highest vote counts in the area during the 2023 presidential election.
