The former Adamawa State Commissioner for Health was formally received into the party on Monday in Abuja. She completed her registration at her ward in the Wuse area of the Federal Capital Territory, where she also obtained her party membership card.

The reception was attended by prominent party officials, including ADC FCT Chairman Clement Oba Ehigiator, the Abuja Municipal Area Council chairman, and other senior party members.

Fatima Atiku Abubakar expressed enthusiasm about her decision, describing the ADC as a platform for a growing coalition of opposition figures aiming to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
