The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, CP Naziru Kankarofi, has extended warm Christmas greetings to residents, assuring them of a safe and peaceful festive season. CP Kankarofi emphasized that the Kogi State Police Command has implemented comprehensive security measures to safeguard lives and property before, during, and after Christmas. These measures include the deployment of additional personnel, intensified patrols, intelligence-led operations, and strategic positioning of officers at worship centres, recreational areas, major highways, markets, and other public spaces.

The police have mobilized personnel from conventional units, the Police Mobile Force, Motor Traffic Department, Safer Highway Patrol, and other tactical formations to maintain law and order, prevent criminal activity, and ensure a peaceful celebration.
