According to Nivo News, the governor’s message, issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohamed, encouraged Christians to use the festive season as a time for reflection on the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly values such as love, sacrifice, peace, and compassion.

Governor Radda described Christmas as a significant occasion for renewing commitment to principles that promote peaceful coexistence and national unity. “As we celebrate this joyous season, I call on all Christians to embrace the spirit of love and tolerance that Christ exemplified throughout his earthly ministry,” he said.

He stressed that unity among Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic background, is vital for building a safer and more prosperous Katsina State and nation. The governor urged sustained collaboration between Christians, Muslims, and followers of other faiths, highlighting that religious tolerance and mutual respect are essential for national development.
