The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has initiated legal proceedings against prominent Nigerian TikToker, Peller, following a car accident that recently went viral online.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The incident, which occurred on Sunday afternoon, has been linked to a personal dispute between Peller and his girlfriend, Jarvis, who is also a content creator. A video of the crash quickly circulated on social media, prompting widespread public criticism and calls for sanctions, including the potential revocation of Peller’s driver’s licence.

In response to the outcry, the FRSC issued a statement on its official social media platforms on Monday, December 15, 2025. The agency directed its Lagos State Command to pursue legal action against the TikTok star, citing violations of traffic laws.

Corps Marshal Shehu Muhammed also urged stakeholders within the entertainment industry—including the Actor Guild of Nigeria, content creators, and other related bodies—to guide their members responsibly and discourage unsafe behavior on public roads.

The FRSC confirmed that Peller will face charges for reckless driving, using a mobile phone while driving, and failing to maintain full attention behind the wheel, in accordance with existing traffic regulations. The agency emphasized that public popularity does not exempt anyone from the law or justify actions that endanger lives on Nigerian roads.
