Tonto Dikeh Breaks Silence On 27-Year Battle With Smoking, Alcohol And Demonic Anger.
Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh has revealed her journey to overcoming prolonged struggles with demonic anger, alcohol addiction, smoking, and masturbation.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to reports, the actress shared her testimony during a Sunday service at Streams of Joy International Church, led by Pastor Jerry Eze. Addressing the congregation, Tonto disclosed that she began smoking at the age of 13 and battled alcohol and masturbation for years, attributing her transformation to divine intervention.
She described her decision to share her testimony publicly as an act of thanksgiving, despite initially worrying about her public image. “I smoked since I was 13. God healed me from masturbation, too. I have known myself to have sexual intercourse in the dream ever since I was a child,” she said.
Tonto also opened up about her struggle with intense demonic anger, saying it once dominated her life. “Everybody had to feel it. But praying with NSPPD, God took all of those away and gave me peace,” she added. She further reflected on the pressures of maintaining a public image, noting that she trusted God to safeguard her dignity.
She described a turning point after attending the Ghana Prayer Conference, which she said ended years of spiritual oppression. “I realized that the weak man who held me captive all my years in my dream ran away,” Tonto explained. She emphasized that true peace only recently entered her life, stating, “I am 40 years old, and I can tell you I have never known peace until now. I am living in it.”
Tonto revealed that her smoking habit lasted nearly three decades, a habit she picked up from her father, and urged parents to prevent harmful practices from influencing their children. “My body does not ask for it. My body is repelling it. Today, it is broken,” she affirmed.
