Shaibu Applauds Mbah as Enugu Records Major Security Upsurge.
According to Nivo News, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Waidi Shaibu, has applauded the significant improvement in security across Enugu State under the leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. Lt. Gen. Shaibu expressed appreciation to Governor Mbah for the continuous support extended to the Nigerian Army in fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities. He noted that the role of the Regimental Sergeant Majors (RSMs) remains pivotal, describing them as the central link between officers and soldiers, as well as custodians of discipline and regimentation within the Army.
He stated that the latest security briefing and available indicators show that Enugu State has witnessed what he termed a tremendous boost in safety and stability in recent times.
Governor Mbah, while congratulating the Army Chief on his appointment, praised him for demonstrating urgency and commitment in confronting the nation’s security challenges. He affirmed that the remarkable improvement in the protection of lives and property across the state could not have been achieved without the dedication and sacrifices of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies. Mbah described Shaibu’s appointment as a perfect fit, citing his proven track record and accomplishments.
