According to Nivo News, the rift between Ned Nwoko and his actress wife, Regina Daniels, reportedly intensified after she and her family moved out of their matrimonial home. The senator, who accused Regina of substance abuse, claimed that she had refused to undergo rehabilitation despite repeated interventions.
In a post shared online, Rita Daniels revealed that she had been informed of an arrest warrant issued against her, allegedly on Ned Nwoko’s orders. “Ned had issued an arrest warrant against me. I should be arrested on or before Monday,” she wrote.
This development comes days after Regina’s brother, Sammy West, was reportedly arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja on the instruction of the senator. Reacting to the situation, Regina Daniels took to Instagram to allege that her brother’s arrest was an attempt to compel her to submit herself for rehabilitation.
Regina’s elder brother, Sweezy, also accused Senator Nwoko of intimidation, claiming that Sammy West has been held without access to food, water, or legal assistance. He further alleged that Ned vowed to keep Sammy in detention until Regina returns to their home.
The unfolding drama between the influential politician and the Daniels family has drawn widespread attention on social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the deepening crisis.
