Bayelsa APC Hails Diri’s Leadership, Urges Members To Embrace New Entrants
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State has officially welcomed Governor Douye Diri, Speaker Abraham Ngobere, members of the State Executive Council, local government chairpersons, other appointees, and their supporters into the party. Otiotio assured that all members of the APC in the state would offer unwavering support and loyalty to Governor Diri as the leader of the party. He commended the Governor for his decision to leave the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and join the APC, citing alignment with the party’s vision and reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which are reshaping Nigeria’s socio-economic and political landscape.
Highlighting the Governor’s developmental initiatives, Otiotio praised projects such as the construction of the three senatorial roads and the ongoing installation of a 60-megawatt plug-and-play gas turbine. He further called on all APC members in Bayelsa to embrace new entrants, emphasizing that every member—whether longstanding or new—holds equal rights and responsibilities within the party.
