“Disciples Of Jagaban Pledge Northern Support For Tinubu In 2027”.
As Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections, Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje, founder of the Disciples of Jagaban (DOJ) and a prominent figure in the Tinubu Support Movement, has asserted that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Governor Peter Obi lack the influence to turn the North against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Alawuje, in a firm statement, warned politicians against engaging in covert ethnic and religious politics, emphasizing that all activities are under close surveillance. “Be warned. There is no political or ethnic scheme you can execute without the awareness of our agents. The North will not be deceived again,” he stated.
Reflecting on Tinubu’s contributions during the 2015 elections, Alawuje highlighted the former APC National Leader’s role in securing Northern support for President Buhari, noting that the region remains grateful. “At that crucial moment, Tinubu traversed the region, convincing millions who once opposed Buhari to support him. The North has not forgotten that selfless act,” he said.
Describing the North as a region marked by loyalty and honor, Alawuje expressed confidence that it would again support Tinubu in 2027. He accused Atiku of pursuing a hidden Northern agenda and alleged that Peter Obi is leveraging religious sentiments for political gain. “Both are playing hypocritical politics of the highest order. No propaganda will turn the North against its trusted ally from the Southwest,” he added.
Citing remarks by the Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness Muhammad Sanusi II, on Nigeria’s economic recovery, Alawuje commended President Tinubu’s bold reforms. “Tinubu is performing exceptionally well—transforming Nigeria’s economic and developmental landscape. Nigerians only need patience,” he said.
Alawuje further praised the President’s resilience in the face of criticism, describing him as a visionary leader and economic reformer. He called on Nigerians to support Tinubu’s reforms and reject divisive politics, stating, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made us proud. He has laid a solid foundation for Nigeria’s future.”
