Liverpool have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain regarding a transfer package of up to £123 million for French international forward Bradley Barcola.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The structure of the deal involves an upfront payment of £106 million for the 23-year-old, accompanied by £17 million in potential add-ons, coming in below PSG’s original £145 million valuation. Barcola is scheduled to complete his medical examinations over the weekend ahead of finalizing a long-term agreement with the Merseyside club.

Operating primarily as a left winger while retaining the versatility to play on the right or centrally, the right-footed forward’s arrival introduces potential questions regarding Cody Gakpo’s long-term position at Anfield, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City tracking the Dutch forward. Furthermore, Liverpool continue to scout options for the right wing, evaluating players such as Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh and Crystal Palace’s Ismaila Sarr.

Securing Barcola represents a major priority for Liverpool as they reinforce their forward line following the exits of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz over the preceding two summers. Barcola previously moved to PSG from Lyon in 2023 for approximately £38.5 million, collecting three Ligue 1 titles, two Champions League titles, two French Cups, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup during his tenure, alongside scoring three goals for France during the summer World Cup.
