Future of Tomorrow: 500 Pupils Benefit From Foundation’s Education Support Drive

The donated items, which included school bags, uniforms, sandals, and writing materials, were given to children from disadvantaged backgrounds to ease the financial pressure on their parents while encouraging learning.
Speaking at the event, founder of the foundation, Olalekan Ayinla, said the initiative stemmed from his belief that education remains the strongest tool for empowerment and national development. He emphasized that children represent the future and that giving back to society was both a responsibility and a necessity.
Ayinla listed the benefiting schools as Ukera Primary School, Adeniji Jones Primary School, Tokunbo Alli Primary School, Shogunle Primary School, Estate Primary School, St. Peter’s Anglican School, Alausa, Opebi Primary School, and Osubiniye Primary School. He added that the gesture would be extended beyond pupils to widows, senior citizens, and orphans in the near future.
He stressed that the growth of Nigeria cannot be left to government alone, noting that individuals and organizations must contribute through acts of giving and service.
An official from the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Sumbo Omobolanle, commended the foundation, urging more private organizations and individuals to support efforts in reducing the number of out-of-school children.
Similarly, Mrs. Olanrewaju Funmilola, Head Teacher of Estate Primary School, Ogba, said the donation provided much-needed relief to parents struggling with the rising cost of basic school supplies.
Mrs. Aishat Mohammed, Assistant Head Teacher of Adeniji Jones Primary School, described the initiative as a morale booster for pupils, many of whom had been struggling without adequate learning materials.
