Talented Nollywood actor Stan Nze has affirmed that he will not put his life at risk for a role that demands performing dangerous stunts, such as jumping from great heights. Nze emphasized that while many stunt performers in the film industry are well-compensated for their work, he does not intend to endanger himself in pursuit of becoming Africa’s best actor. He explained, “Why would I? I have acted in scenes where characters jump, but these are performed by stunt professionals. They are trained, experienced, and well-equipped to handle such stunts. I’m not going to be foolish and risk my life just to gain a title. I prefer to stay alive, receive the right training, and allow stunt performers to do what they are trained for.”
When asked about roles he has not taken on, Nze added, “Perhaps nudity. I have not done nude scenes because I don’t see the necessity. However, if a story requires it briefly and modestly to convey a specific message, I would consider it.”
