“That’s Rubbish!” – EFCC Slams Atiku Link, Exposes Real Reason Oil Mogul Was Declared Wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has refuted claims that businessman Abdullahi Bashir Haske was declared wanted for political reasons or because of his reported family ties to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to Nivo News, the Commission, in a statement by its spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed that Haske is being sought over allegations of criminal conspiracy and money laundering, not political affiliations. Oyewale stressed that the EFCC’s decision was guided solely by the facts of its long-running investigation.

The anti-graft agency urged members of the public with credible information about Haske’s whereabouts to report to any of its offices or the nearest police station.

Speaking further, Oyewale dismissed suggestions that the case is politically motivated, describing them as baseless. He explained that Haske had been under investigation for years and was granted administrative bail, which he subsequently violated.

“That is rubbish,” Oyewale said when asked about insinuations linking Atiku to the case. “Haske is someone we have been investigating for a long time. He was on administrative bail but jumped the process, which is why we declared him wanted. How can anyone insinuate political interference?”
