The celebrated actress recounted that when they both started out, they were simply two passionate young women with dreams, unaware of how far Nollywood would grow or the global impact it would achieve.
“When we started in Nollywood all those years ago, we were just passionate girls with a dream,” Dominic wrote. “We had no idea the incredible journey ahead or how our industry would grow to touch the entire world. To look around today and see how far we’ve come… It fills my heart with pride. No matter what, we did not walk alone.”
Dominic has now spent 27 years in the industry, while Nnaji has clocked 26 years — milestones that reflect their talent, consistency, and unwavering dedication to the craft.
In a separate development, fellow Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, has commented on ongoing conversations about marriage and relationships. According to reports, Okeowo stated on Instagram that the number of years spent in marriage does not necessarily prevent some men from taking another wife.
She advised women to prioritize peace of mind over societal expectations, emphasizing that staying in a troubled union to satisfy public opinion is not worth the emotional toll.
